RVI Series Industrial Wall-Mounted Supply Fans

The Go-To Industrial Supply Fan for Reliable Airflow
Building on our heritage since 1948 and decades of experience in the industrial ventilation market, Triangle Engineering’s RVI Series supply fans are designed for wall mounting to push fresh air into industrial buildings, ensuring a safer and more comfortable working environment. These belt-drive fans are ideal for facilities that require dependable airflow solutions.
Key Features & Benefits
- Wall-mounted supply design
The RVI Series is engineered for installation on an exterior wall, drawing in large volumes of outside air. This pressurizes interior spaces for consistent ventilation and improved air quality. - Belt-drive performance
The RVI Series utilizes a belt-drive system for reliable, efficient air movement. Models with open drip proof (ODP) or totally enclosed (TE) motors up to 1.5 hp come equipped with an automatic belt tensioner for reduced maintenance. - Wide range of sizes
Blade diameters available in 24″, 30″, 36″, 42″, 48″, 54″, and 60″—making it easy to find a model that meets your specific space and airflow requirements. - Flexible motor configurations
Choose from 1/3 hp up to 5 hp in open drip proof (ODP), totally enclosed (TE), or hazardous location (HL) motors. Standard voltages include 115V or 230V (single-phase) and 230V or 460V (three-phase), with additional voltages—such as 277V, 208V, 415V, and 575V—available upon request. - Easy in-building servicing
RVI supply fans are designed so belts, motors, and pulleys can be accessed and maintained from inside the building, minimizing downtime and labor costs. - Ships fully assembled and tested
Every fan leaves our factory fully assembled and rigorously tested, speeding up on-site setup and ensuring immediate performance. - Rolled inlet venturi
Each RVI fan includes a rolled inlet venturi finished with a durable polyester powder coat. This design helps improve overall airflow efficiency. - Shipped with an integrated wall box
Every RVI model arrives with a factory-installed wall box, ensuring a straightforward mounting process on any exterior wall. This feature streamlines installation and saves valuable time.

Available Accessories
Triangle Engineering offers a full line of accessories to complement RVI Series supply fans, ensuring an optimal installation for your unique application. The following optional add-ons can be tailored to meet your environmental and operational needs:
- Rainhoods
Provide a protective cover against exterior elements, keeping critical fan components dry. - Guards
Add a protective barrier to safeguard personnel and equipment by enclosing moving parts. OSHA requires guarding if any part of the fan is mounted within 7 feet of floor level. - Shutters/Dampers
Offered in standard sizes or custom increments (as small as 1/8″) to fit your exact opening. They regulate airflow, limit backdraft, keep rain out when fan is turned off and maintain optimal building pressure when the fan is off.
Ideal Use Cases
- Manufacturing plants: Introduce fresh air to maintain safe temperatures and help dissipate fumes or airborne contaminants.
- Warehouses & distribution centers: Alleviate hot, stuffy interiors to enhance employee comfort and productivity.
- Automotive & aerospace facilities: Supply clean air to specialized workstations where dust and fumes must be carefully managed.
- Data/Crypto mining containers: Typically used as a supply fan to push fresh air into a building, but in container applications they can also be set up as an exhaust fan. This allows fresh air to be pulled across mining equipment while enabling easy belt, pulley, and motor maintenance from outside the container—especially valuable where interior space is at a premium.
- Large commercial buildings: Improve ventilation in settings like retail stores, indoor sporting venues, or convention centers.
Why RVI Series?
Adequate ventilation is necessary for employee and building health. In addition, many building codes require adequate ventilation to ensure acceptable indoor air quality. ASHRAE Standard 62.2 provides guidelines for ventilation for indoor air quality.
- Reliability and durability
Built in the USA with a blend of domestic and foreign components, Triangle Engineering constructs the RVI Series to meet the toughest industrial standards, ensuring dependable ventilation for years. - Simple maintenance
The ability to service belts, motors, and pulleys from inside the facility reduces the need for outdoor equipment and complex procedures. - Enhanced workplace conditions
By supplying fresh air, RVI fans help create a pressurized environment that stabilizes indoor temperatures and air quality, boosting employee comfort and safety. - Flexible motor choices
With horsepower options spanning 1/3 hp to 5 hp, plus ODP, TE, and HL enclosures, there’s a configuration for every operational requirement. - Balanced airflow with an exhaust fan
Intake fans are necessary if you have needs for large quantities of air movement. The RVI intake fans can be used to balance airflow to maintain acceptable levels of building static pressure. For ideal indoor air quality, consider pairing your RVI Series supply (intake) fan with a Triangle Engineering exhaust fan. This balanced approach continuously replaces stale or contaminated air with fresh air, ensuring proper building pressure and comprehensive ventilation throughout your facility.
