PFG Direct Drive Agricultural Exhaust Fans
Triangle Engineering’s PFG Series direct-drive agricultural exhaust fans deliver reliable, steady airflow in a tough, farm-ready package. Built for daily duty in barns, greenhouses, and crop storage, each unit features a heavy-gauge galvanized wall box, frame, and blade; a rolled inlet venturi for smoother airflow; TEAO motors for dusty/humid environments; and a direct-drive propeller—no belts or pulleys—so there’s no belt slip or sheave losses and far less to service.
Available in 36″, 42″, and 48″ diameters, PFG direct-drive fans offer flexible power options (230V single-phase; 230/460V three-phase) and ship fully assembled and factory-tested for quick field installation. Many standard models are stocked for quick shipment from our Arkansas facility, and every unit is Made in the USA (with a mix of domestic and foreign components) and supported by readily available, in-stock replacement parts.
Backed by over 70 years of American manufacturing expertise, the PFG direct-drive series combines durability, low maintenance, and dependable airflow—providing a practical agricultural exhaust solution for poultry, swine, dairy, greenhouses, and produce storage.

Round out your PFG direct-drive install with add-ons that improve control, protect against weather, and keep airflow consistent. All accessories are sized to match your fan for a clean fit.
Shutters and Dampers – Cut back-drafts and weather intrusion when fans are off. Rigid, ag-grade blades sized to each PFG diameter for fast, tidy installs
Rain hoods – Shield the opening from rain and wind without choking airflow. Flanged, all-weather hoods mount quickly on exposed walls.
Thermostats – Automatic, temperature-based staging for steady conditions and energy savings. Simple wiring for standard 230V single-phase (ask about 115V/3-phase).
PFG direct-drive agricultural exhaust fans remove heat, humidity, and contaminants across livestock and horticulture, delivering consistent output with minimal maintenance (no belts to adjust or replace).
Poultry houses (broiler, breeder, layer)
-
Sidewall or end-wall exhaust for cross or tunnel ventilation.
-
No belt slip means steady airflow over long grow-outs; quieter operation helps reduce stress.
-
Pair with shutters and thermostats for staged, seasonal control.
Swine barns (farrowing, nursery, finishing)
-
Negative-pressure exhaust to pull fresh air through ceiling or wall inlets.
-
Low-maintenance drive reduces service time; steady CFM supports precise controller setpoints.
-
Galvanized build handles corrosive, high-ammonia environments.
Dairy & beef (freestall, holding pens, parlors)
-
Exhausts warm, humid air to support cow comfort and air quality.
-
Direct-drive reliability = consistent performance during continuous duty; lower vibration around parlors.

Ships ready for fast install during retrofits or expansions.
Greenhouses & nurseries
-
End-wall exhaust to regulate temperature and humidity.
-
Set-and-forget operation with steady airflow supports environmental control strategies.
-
Add rain hoods on exposed walls; stage with simple thermostats.
Crop & produce storage (potato, onion, seed)
-
Removes warm, moist air to reduce condensation and spoilage risk.
